Ewe Kenti cloth, second half 20th century

Measurements: 264 x 154cm

Price: £380

A later example of this strip woven West African cloth but still with some charm. This is a robust piece of good size with a bright palette and a great look. I love the slight misalignment of the panels reminiscent of the fault lines in Kuba cloth and with the random beauty of tribal rugs. The alternating arrows cross the centre draw your eye in to the field.
