I use the term Hamadan very loosely here and I fully expect to be changing its description once I can pin down the exact location. It does have a single weft but there are numerous districts surrounding Hamadan that have this structure and this is certainly finer than the standard Hamadan. One might say the palette is more Feraghan but for now I have a holding term while I learn more. The allover lattice design is very decorative and I am drawn to the pistachio green flowers which feature throughout the lattice. Altogether this is a very attractive workshop rug with an unusual design and a solid construction.

Condition:

Very good with a little repiling.
