I have always liked these single wefted rugs from northern Persia. They are robust with their cotton foundation which also means they lie flat. My first rug was a Hamadan and I have owned many since, they are decorative, practical pieces as well as being very affordable. This one isn’t particularly old probably 1930 or thereabouts but it has a charm and is in very good condition. It benefits from having a light field which shows off the decoration nicely.

Condition:

Very good, no issues to report.
