Karaja rugs are very desirable decorative rugs that are strong sellers with their bright palettes reminiscent of Heriz carpets of which they are close neighbours. This piece shows the typical three medallion design, with two identical square shapes flanking the central hooked motif. The deep blue centre flanked by the bright white hooks attracts the eye first before you begin to explore the myriad of interconnected floral motifs that cram every available space.
