I can’t resist these old beautiful rugs despite the condition. I love the white background with lines of colourful boteh framing the inner red field crammed with tribal motifs. The green diamonds surround a sky blue central diamond in perfect balance of colour against the madder background. This is a very good old rug, an authentic tribal piece and it has the magic that one would expect. I always find it astonishing that treasures like this can be acquired at less than the cost of a modern example.

Condition:

Pretty poor condition with wear all over and some creases where foundation is showing. The sides and ends have some issues too. The price is adjusted accordingly. Despite this I think this a serviceable rug with many years of use still in it.
