The Mina Khani design is a classic and one of my favourites. A lattice of rosettes fill the central field, the execution of the design improves as the weaver works their way up, a very common feature of these rugs. At the top they finally get it right and the lattice disappears off under the border to infinity. Note the white reciprocal border around the field, this is a clever way of fitting the rug into its frame, the field bleeds into the border and vice versa. The rug is very soft and floppy almost like a blanket, these tribal items are generally more loosely woven than workshop examples. A great little rug.
