This coarsely knotted bag could have been made by a child, the red field is broken by a crudely drawn boteh which hardly resembles the real thing. It has a naive charm I think and I love the barber pole stripes that surround the field. Throw in a few random blue blobs and the picture is complete and ready to be hung on the fridge. It isn’t the Ardebil carpet but it is affordable as well as beautifully homemade and tribal.
Condition:
Fair condition with a little old moth damage.
