A very fine Qashqai bagface with a sublime green ground. As ever these old pieces have the finest quality wool which makes the colours glow. The central hooked diamond is typical of these pieces, in these examples they are surrounded by four simple memling guls picked out in a dark blue. There is a special quality to these authentic old tribal pieces and later examples cannot compete with the rich colours and soft wool. Despite their condition this bagface retains its beauty.
