A very typical Tekke rug, finely knotted and with the best quality wool as is to be expected on old Turkoman pieces. The palette is more pink than is usual but the overall colour does vary across the field. Note the random horizontal white decoration in the border. The end panels are particularly pleasing. This rug has it’s issues hence the price is drastically reduced.

Condition:

A little worn in places with one poor repair. The main issues are tension related, a fold on one side and quite an uneven lie which might restrict where it is to be used.
